When you are marketing only one or a few well chosen closely interrelated products, your customer have a clear vision of what your blog or site is all about. Now that you have chosen your product/s you can narrow your marketing down to a specific audience, as opposed to general and wide. With a narrow and specific audience your chances of making a sale is so much greater, than the marketer who bombards his customers with multiple and unrelated products in the hope that they will buy. A few might buy, but not enough to warrant the hysterical marketing of a new and improved product every five seconds.

If you are easily emotionally persuaded, it leads to impulse buying for goods and services you dont really need. In the Affiliate arena we are all either selling a product or service. Most of the time it is a product or service that we know that our customers need. The question is: What do we as Affiliate Marketers do to make them understand that they need or want that particular product or service? When people are doing an online search for a product, it means that they are in the market to buy. Your biggest hope when they eventually reach your site is that they will buy from you. Ninety nine percent of the time customers see the same old same old, and decide to elsewhere for what they need. In the mind of the customer there is nothing that differentiates you from the rest of what is out there. The customer might just come across an inferior product from the competition, but decide to buy it anyway, because the benefits of what the customer will get when buying from them is described in a superior manner.
